The quintessential San Francisco experience since 1912, the race is a landmark event in the city. The full course is 7.46 miles long. The run is more an excuse to drink and dress up in strange costumes along the way.
It's a very big event and feels more like a moving party than a run. Expect to see a lot of people running naked too. Registration is required and starts at $69, but most people just party around town and watch the runners! You don't need to register to take part in this.
