Travel: a word full of promise, escape and discovery. For adventure lovers like me, each new trip is a blank canvas on which to paint my unique experiences and discover unexplored facets of the world around us. With each departure, my travel list evolves, grows and adapts to my current desires. In this article, I unveil my (new) travel list, a refreshed compilation of destinations, experiences and tips for memorable getaways.

1. Explore destinations off the beaten track

Far from the usual tourist itineraries, I've discovered a passion for lesser-known places. I'm irresistibly drawn to remote regions and hidden treasures. So I'd like to introduce you to these exciting destinations that have remained in the shadow of the must-see sites.

  • Lesotho, a small mountain kingdom, is also the new kingdom for trekking enthusiasts.

  • Con Son , Vietnam looks like a tropical paradise. It's a protected haven of nature and a haven for sea turtles.

2. Immerse yourself in local culinary experiences

Nothing tells the story of a place's history and culture like its cuisine. My travels are now punctuated by culinary tastings to sample the authentic flavors of the world. From the spicy street food of Bangkok to the sweet delights of Viennese pastries, every bite is an immersion in the local culture. So here are my tasting plans:

  • Try Kit Kats in Japan, available in a variety of unique flavors such as matcha, wasabi, and sakura.

3. Live unique experiences

Travel is the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone. An introduction to scuba diving in the crystal-clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef, an overnight stay in a monastery in the heart of the Tibetan mountains or a hike in the Amazon rainforest: these singular experiences enrich my journey and connect me intimately with the world around me. Here are the new experiences I want to try:

  • Bathing in the OASIS DE PICA: THE EDEN GARDEN OF THE ATACAMA DESERT in Chile.
